When I bought the home:
The railroad tie walls had some damage and decay, and there were 14 eucalyptus trees, 3 ficus trees, lots of mature bushes, and some heavy objects in the garden.

The Plan:
Remove the heavy objects and trees/plants from the dirt, upgrade the sprinkler system, replace the retaining wall on the back garden, amend and compact the soil, plant roses, plant native plants, plant fruit trees in pots, plant hibiscus in pots, and add a raised bed (zinc) veggie garden.

Additions to the garden:

- Compost for roses: Valleys Best Compost from San Pasqual Valley Soils (3-4" layer on top)
- Soil: Topsoil from San Pasqual Valley Soils (9 yards)
- Pebbles: Imperial Pebble 3/4" from RCP Block & Brick
- Edging: Dreamscape PRO aluminum landscape edging in dark brown
- Stepping Stones: 16"x16"x2.25" Smooth - Tan from RCP Block & Brick
- Retaining Wall: Keystone Stonegate Contemporary in Brownstone from RCP Block & Brick
- Irrigation for roses: Agrifim Dura-Flo Jr 1/4" poly tubing dripperline (3-1/2 gpm flow at 15psi)
